Percy Luis Vasquez Daza
Percy is our professional trek guide and a certified member of Bolivia’s only officially recognised mountain and trekking guide association (AGMTB). Born and raised in Pelechuco — the first stop on our journey — Percy brings both ancestral knowledge of the land and internationally recognised professional training to every expedition.
Local Origins
Percy was born and grew up in Pelechuco, within the Apolobamba region. His connection to the land began in childhood, walking the same mountain paths that form part of our trekking routes today.
Family Tradition
Alongside his father, Percy has guided expeditions through the ecological parks of Madidi and Apolobamba for many years, learning the craft through lived experience in the mountains.
Ecological Knowledge
As a native of the region, Percy holds deep environmental understanding of the ecosystems, wildlife corridors and traditional routes throughout the protected national parks.
Professional Qualification
Percy later received official certification through AGMTB (Asociación de Guías de Montaña y Trekking Bolivia), allowing him to guide international groups professionally.
International Experience
With experience leading groups from around the world, Percy combines safety, cultural insight and local expertise to ensure a supported and authentic trekking experience.
